A roast beef and chicken dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hot dogs also have been added to the menu this year. Cost for dinner will be $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, $5 for children ages 13 to 18 and $3 for children ages 4 to 12. Children age 3 and under will be admitted to dinner for free.

Dinners may be delivered, and carry-out dinners also will be available by calling the school at 384-2440 between 8 and 10 a.m. on the day of Karnival Kapers.

Karnival Kapers is one of Central Catholic's major fundraisers, with proceeds used to assist the fine arts guild, athletic booster club, student scholarship program, student council and the development foundation.

Karnival Kapers will include game and craft booths, baked goods, concessions, raffle items and bingo with cash prizes.

The sand art booth will be back by popular demand. Central Catholic also is accepting donations of used books and videos to be sold at Karnival Kapers. Books and videos may be dropped off at the school.

During the event, a group called Karnival Kutters will provide haircuts, with all proceeds going to Karnival Kapers.

Drawings for big prizes will begin at 3 p.m.

Karnival Kapers is a major undertaking by parents, Central Catholic students, faculty, parishes and the community. Karnival Kapers chairwomen this year are Jody Backer and Tammy Brown.
