Welcome to Vegas, baby. Ben Campbell (played by Jim Sturgess) is the smartest man in the casino. He's a soon-to-be graduate of MIT with an acceptance letter in the mail to Harvard Medand he's robbing the city blind. He's one-fifth of a team of card counters whose carefully designed signals indicate which tables are hot, which aren't worth it, and when to get out.

Soon Ben is addicted and his perfect world of Blackjack is spiraling him into a world he can no longer understand, and it threatens to rob him of everything he's dreamed of. But just when you think it's over, you're not even close.

Kevin Spacey portrays the sideways teacher who educates his apprentices on the science of counting cards, and he nearly steals the limelight from Sturgess. Aaron Yoo (the friend from "Disturbia") plays a quirky "spotter" on the team, while Laurence Fishburne is the head authority bent on bringing them down.

This film will seep into your psyche. I realize in order to count cards you must have more than quick eyes, you must also have a quick mind and a talent for math (proof that Vegas is no place for me). It has instantly become one of my favorite movies. "21" is a 'winner, winner, chicken dinner.'
