Police/Sheriff
Anyone with information about any crime in the state may call the Grand Island-Hall County Crime Stoppers, 381-8822. Crime Stoppers guarantees that callers will remain anonymous.
A reward of up to $1,000 will be paid after law enforcement agencies have determined the seriousness of the crime and the usefulness of the information.
Inmate custody status can be obtained by calling the VINE hotline at (877) NE 4 VINE. Information is available 24 hours a day.

Grand Island Police
The following felonies were reported:
* Oralia Cifuentes-Jocol, 708 N. Broadwell Ave., reported criminal mischief there. A vehicle was damaged.
* Michelle Alexander, North Platte, reported a burglary at Sixth and Plum Streets. Items were stolen from a storage facility.
* Mid-Nebraska Individual Services, 1011 E. Fifth St., reported a burglary there.
* Meredith Kahler, 1720 Grand Island Ave., reported a theft there. Items were stolen from a vehicle.
Hall County Sheriff
Law enforcement arrested one person on a warrant in one case. The following felonies were reported:
* Doris Macku, Alda, reported a burglary at 48 Mockingbird in Alda.
* Michael Wissing, Wood River, reported a theft at Interstate 80 and South 140th Road. Hunting equipment was stolen.

The Hall County Jail has 127 inmates, booked in nine people and released 11 people.

* Robert T. Gadsby, also known as Tracy T. Gadsby, 26, 910 N. Boggs Apt. 709, had charges of assault by a confined person and being a habitual criminal dismissed for a March 16 incident.
* Joshua A. Thulin, 19, 415 S. Cherry St. Apt. S1, was charged with assault by a confined person and attempted assault by confined person for a March 30 incident involving Keith Raker and Brian Leetch.
* Mohamed A. Jabar, 24, 311 E. Third St. Apt. C, was charged with possession of khat for a March 29 incident.
* Mohamud A. Yusef, 18, 225 S. Sycamore St., was charged with possession of khat for a March 29 incident.
* Chad A. Baker, 24, Longmont, Colo., was charged with possession of Oxycodone for a March 31 incident.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System is hosting its Welcome Home Celebration from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Holiday Inn Central in Omaha.
Returning veterans who have questions about VA health care or the services available to them can call the Returning Veterans Program Office for the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System at (402) 995-4714.
