The daughters of Eugene and Margaret Petersen will be hosting an open house to celebrate the couple's 40th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at The Gathering, 612 Howard Ave., in St. Paul.

Their family includes Lorraine Grantzinger, her husband, Gary, and their children, Amber, Nathan and Adam, all of Grand Island, and Deseray Meister, her husband, Jeremy, and their son, Axel, all of Lincoln.

Eugene and Margaret were married April 11, 1968, at St. Marks Lutheran Church in St. Paul.
