Exchanging wedding vows Aug. 8, 2008, at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Omaha are Megan Howell of Omaha and Tyler Neuharth of Vermillion, S.D.

Rick and Melissa Howell of Omaha are parents of the bride-elect. She is the granddaughter of Marvin and Marlene Peters of Grand Island. The future groom is the son of Karla Herdina of Rapid City, S.D.

Miss Howell graduated in 2001 from Millard West High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2005 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She continued with her master's degree receiving it from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2006. She is an elementary education teacher for the Omaha Public Schools.

Neuharth is a 1999 graduate of Stevensons High School. He received a bachelor's degree with majors in criminal justice and psychology in 2006 from the University of South Dakota. He will receive his master's degree in international relations from USD in May 2008. He is a member of the National Guard.
