St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island will be the setting of the May 24, 2008, wedding of Jodi Spale and Todd Guenther, both of Gretna.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Duane and Jan Spale of Grand Island. Daryl and Dorothy Guenther of Crofton are parents of the future groom.

Miss Spale is a 2003 graduate of Grand Island Northwest High. She will graduate April 26 from Clarkson College at Omaha with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She works for Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Guenther graduated from Crofton High School in 2000. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he majored in industrial distribution. He works for Nebraska Machine Co. in Omaha.
