Hastings officials to discuss roads plans

HASTINGS < Local and state officials will discuss plans for street repairs in Hastings and rerouting of Highway 6 at 10 a.m. today in the Good Samaritan Village Senior Center.

Hastings Mayor Matt Rossen, City Engineer Dave Wacker and Wes Wahlgren, the Nebraska Department of Roads' District 4 engineer, will discuss the issues as part of a town hall meeting hosted by Rossen.

This meeting is the third such gathering of Rossen's. A fourth is planned for June to discuss issues facing the community's youth.
