Hastings falls to York

YORK < Hastings College lost 4-3 Wednesday night to York College in non-conference play. The game was originally scheduled to be played in Hastings, but was moved to York due to predicted bad weather.

Josh Stovall was the starting pitcher for the Broncos (12-23) and pitched five innings, giving up two runs on six hits. Mike Randone was credited with the loss for the Broncos as he went 2 2/3 innings, giving up one run on four hits.

Joe Piscitelli had two of the Broncos four hits a double and a single. Piscitelli also had two RBIs.

The Broncos are scheduled to play at Dakota Wesleyan and the University of Sioux Falls this weekend. Hastings will take on Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday in two seven-inning games starting at 1 p.m. The Broncos will then play the University of Sioux Falls at 1 p.m. Sunday.
