Young entrepreneurs to sell wares at product fair

COLUMBUS Twelve high school students will sell their wares and discuss their services at an Entrepreneurship Product Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the Raider Field House at Central Community College-Columbus.

The public is invited to attend and meet the following entrepreneurs from the Grand Island area:

* Brittney DeWine, a senior at Twin River High School, is owner of Brit's Beads. She sells decorative pins, bracelets and necklaces and also does some custom orders.

* Thomas Hemmer, a senior at Twin River High School, is the owner of Hemmer Animal Traps. He designed and developed a pocket hole trap that increases the chances of safely capturing an animal.

* Keri Novacek and Bryanne Yosten, students at Cedar Rapids High School, are owners of Main Street Market. They sell original, cheese and jalapeno/cheese bratwursts through Main Street Meats in Cedar Rapids, Albion Lockers, Thrifty Way and Rae Valley Market in Petersburg.

* Mikaella Vanderpool, a senior at Fullerton High School, is owner of V's Cupcake Delights. She provides flavored and designer cupcakes for all occasions.

* Joey Zwiener, a senior at Cedar Rapids High School, is owner of JZ Care. He provides a wide variety of indoor and outdoor household chore services and companionship to elderly people.
