Charles and Barbara Dutra of Socorro, N.M., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katy Dutra, to Michael Jablonski, son of Marcella Jablonski of Loup City and the late Robert Jablonski.

Ms. Dutra, a graduate of the University of Colorado, is a teacher for Henkle Middle School in White Salmon, Wash.

Jablonski graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and works on a cargo ship as a chief engineer.

A June 21, 2008, wedding is planned in White Salmon.
