Planning to be united in marriage May 24, 2008, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Grand Island are Angela R. Fitch and Kris D. Meredith of Grand Island.

Dave and Janne Findley of Grand Island are parents of the bride-elect. Parents of the prospective groom are Douglas and Diane Meredith of Arvada, Colo.

Ms. Fitch graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1989. She received an associate of applied science degree in paralegal services from Central Community College-Grand Island in 1997. She is an insurance agent for Ryder Rosacker McCue & Huston Insurance in Grand Island.

Meredith is a 1982 graduate of Pomona High School in Arvada. He received an associate of applied science degree in mechanic design technology from Frontier Ranch College and Colorado University in Denver in 1985. He is a mechanical engineer for Fabrication Technologies, Inc. in Casper, Wyo.
