Wedding vows will be exchanged between Jenna Johannsen and Thomas Carlson, both of Kearney, on June 14, 2008, at First Lutheran Church ELCA in Kearney.

Michael and Carol Johannsen of Gibbon are parents of the bride-elect. Parents of the future groom are Brooke and Donna Eilts of Grand Island.

Miss Johannsen graduated from Gibbon High School in 2003. She will graduate in May 2009 from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she is majoring in musical theatre and music business. She is a television host for Fox 4 and 17, owned by Pappas Telecasting.

Carlson is a 2003 graduate of Grand Island Northwest High. He will receive a bachelor's degree in music business from UNK in May 2009.
