* Tabbott Sauder, 408 Sherman Ave., reported a theft there.
* Alfredo Garcia, 574 E. 18th St., reported a burglary there.
* Derrick Beberniss, 412 Roush Lane, reported a theft there. Items were stolen from a vehicle.
Hall County Sheriff
Law enforcement arrested eight people on warrants in nine cases. No felonies were reported.

Hall County District Court
* Daniel F. Strohl, 54, 1710 N. St. Paul Road, was found not guilty by a jury of theft of services for an incident that occurred between July 18, 2005, and Dec. 6, 2006, involving electric service from Northwestern Energy.
* Arthur D. Shafer Jr., 27, 3528 Deann Road No. 22, was sentenced to 18 to 24 months in prison for possession of burglar's tools, one year in prison for criminal mischief, six months in jail for attempted theft by unlawful taking and six months in jail for theft by receiving stolen property for an Oct. 30, 2007, incident. He was also ordered to pay $1,138 restitution. The sentences will be served at the same time.
* Thomas W. Stewart, 22, Cairo, pleaded no contest to third-degree domestic assault subsequent offense for a Jan. 19 incident. His sentencing is scheduled for May 21.
* Michael L. Smith, 42, Kearney, pleaded not guilty to sexual assault on a child for an incident that occurred between June 1 and July 1, 2005. His trial is scheduled for June.
* Jessica Mills, 27, Edgemont, S.D., pleaded not guilty to distribution of methamphetamine for a Dec. 21, 2007, incident. Her trial is scheduled for June.
* Gabriel T. Carson, 31, Doniphan, pleaded not guilty to attempted first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree assault and three counts of use of a gun to commit a felony for a Jan. 25 incident. His trial is scheduled for June.
Hall County Court
* Justin A. Rodenbaugh, 21, 2419 Kruse Ave., had charges of terroristic threats and using a handgun to commit a felony dismissed for a March 3 incident involving Eric Plummer.
* Sara Keophommasone, 28, 2023 W. Third St., was charged with third-degree assault on a police officer and obstructing a police officer for an April 13 incident.
* Rodderick M. Moore, 24, 310 E. Fourth St., was charged with third-degree assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, strangulation, third-degree assault and two counts of terroristic threats for an April 13 incident.
* Richard J. Linder, 27, 245 N. Boggs, was charged with first-degree assault and two counts of assault by menacing threat for an April 13 incident involving Robert Brewer, Cody Wilbur and Tiffani Jepson.
* Robert J. Watts, 27, Lawton, Okla., was charged with first-degree assault for an April 13 incident involving Robert Brewer.
* Thomas Bliven Jr., 27, Holbrook, was charged with first-degree assault for an April 13 incident involving Robert Brewer.
Driving under the influence
Nathan R. Gohner, 21, 1035 Eugene St., $400, nine months probation, 60 days no driving.
Street closure
State Street, between North Road and Diers Avenue, will be closed now through 8:30 a.m. Wednesday due to a water main installation. Diamond Engineering will place steel street plates on the grassy area between the north curb of State Street and the bike trail to serve as a shoofly detour around the construction for ambulances, fire trucks, police and other emergency vehicles.
