DONIPHAN The Nebraska State Patrol's bomb squad responded to a suspicious package call Tuesday morning only to find a skateboarder's nebulizer.

At 5:20 a.m. the Hall County Sheriff's Department received a call from a person who saw a suspicious package at the Bank of Doniphan at Second and Plum streets in Doniphan. Upon arriving, deputies found a small black bag on top of the night depository by the main entrance, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Department.

The release also gave the following information:

The deputies were unable to determine what the device was, so the area was secured and the State Patrol's bomb squad was called.

The bomb squad used a robot to remove the object, which was determined not to be an explosive. Further investigation revealed it was a nebulizer left behind by three kids who were skateboarding in the area Monday evening.

A nebulizer is a device used to spray a fine mist of liquid and usually used to inhale medicine.

The incident ended at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
