Rhodes shot a 78 to earn his medal.

"Score-wise it was a disappointing day," Islander coach Scott Fox said. "Part of that was the challenging weather and part of it was poor play around the greens."

But Fox was happy with how his team kept battling against the windy conditions. That enabled Grand Island to finish in the middle of the 14-team field with a 329 total.
