Police/Sheriff

Anyone with information about any crime in the state may call the Grand Island-Hall County Crime Stoppers, 381-8822. Crime Stoppers guarantees that callers will remain anonymous.

A reward of up to $1,000 will be paid after law enforcement agencies have determined the seriousness of the crime and the usefulness of the information.

Inmate custody status can be obtained by calling the VINE hotline at (877) NE 4 VINE. Information is available 24 hours a day.

Grand Island Police

The following felonies were reported:

* Nolberto Valdez, 505 Meves Ave., reported a burglary at 416 Ramada Road. Items were stolen from a storage unit.

* Bradley Kelly, 2019 Stagecoach Road, reported a burglary there. Items were stolen from a garage and a vehicle.

* Abdulkadir Ibrahim, 225 S. Sycamore St., reported a theft there. Items were stolen from a vehicle.

Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested two people on warrants in two cases. No felonies were reported.

The Hall County Jail has 139 inmates, booked in 18 people and released 11 people.

* Paula J. Stithem, also known as Polly Christenson, Pauly Stithem and Polly Stithem, 34, 507 W. Second St. No. 105, pleaded guilty to authorized use of a financial transaction device for an Oct. 2, 2007, incident. Her sentencing is scheduled for June 11.

Hall County Court

* Anthony J. Deichmann, 19, Central City, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute for an April 16 incident.

* Kay Lea Eastman, 46, 663 Faidley Place No. 10, was charged with the unauthorized use of a financial transaction device for an April 16 incident.

Driving under the influence

Clifford H. Shafer, 25, 3528 Deann Road No. 22, $400, 30 days in jail, six months no driving; Ubong S. Udoh, 19, 412 S. Eddy, $400, six months probation, 60 days no driving; Simon E. Dominguez-Garcia, 22, 209 E. 10th St. Apt. 4, $400, six months probation, 60 days no driving.
